Eskimo Hut actively seeks motivated individuals to become franchisees. Prior business experience, coupled with personal financial qualifications, individual motivation and a track record of success are important factors in our evaluation process. If you are interested in pursuing single unit or area development opportunities as an Eskimo Hut franchisee, please complete our in depth franchise application and an Eskimo Hut Franchise representative will contact you to discuss.
Individuals will need as little as $100,000 to as much as $1,500,000 in total cost of each unit – this varies by size, location and lease or ownership. You may opt to purchase the land and/or building where you conduct your Eskimo Hut business, or you may opt to lease a building. Eskimo Hut recommends, but does not require, that an individual have at least $100,000 in non-borrowed personal resources (liquid assets, e.g. cash, marketable securities, stocks, etc…) along with an overall net worth (total assets minus total liabilities) of $200,000 to qualify. Financing is to be secured through third-party lending sources
The beautiful thing about the Eskimo Hut is low royalties. Every new franchisee is required pay 3% of gross sales with it going towards business development, updating policies and procedures, and further training. Every franchisee is also required to purchase their confidential ingredients (flavors and Base Mix) for the Eskimo Snow drinks and any Eskimo Hut product offered from approved Eskimo Hut vendors. Beyond that, there are no other annual fees due to the Franchisor.
Average sales of 2021 and 2022 corporate-owned units were $915,000. You are welcome to contact existing franchisees to find out what their sales are. Most franchisees are willing to discuss such information with you once it is determined that you are serious about investing in an Eskimo Hut franchise.
We are restricted by the Federal Trade Commission and various state franchise sales regulations from providing you with specific profit projections. No. However, Eskimo Hut Worldwide, Ltd. is a member of the SBA Franchise Registry with preferred lenders and Eskimo Hut Worldwide, LTD. can direct potential franchisees to sources that have provided other financing options in the areas of equipment leasing, construction and SBA loans.
Each location is different, depending on a variety of factors, including site selection, liquor license acceptance, build-out requirements and training. However, it typically takes approximately 2-6 months from signing the franchise agreement to opening day at your Eskimo Hut store.
All new franchisees are required, to participate in a week training program at a Houston corporate owned locations. This consists of 4 days at a location that sells majority frozen daiquiris, and a day in the corporate office. In addition, if you will not be the on site operator the GM of your location would be required to attend the training and/or accompany you to learn and ask questions. Once completed, franchisees receive regular updates to their training, including on site reviews.
All wine products are delivered by Texas wine distributors to all stores on an as needed basis. All Eskimo Hut flavors, Base Mix and promotional products are delivered by LTL freight to all stores on an as needed basis. In this manner, the high-quality Eskimo Hut frozen daiquiri you enjoy in Amarillo is the same as the frozen daiquiri made in Houston, Midland or any other city.
